Having produced a range of carpet pythons for the last seven years, this year is all about other python species.
On the royal front, it looks like I'm going to have eleven clutches from the twelve females I have here. I'm certainly expecting appearances from Calicos, Pinstripes, Lessers, Albinos, Pastels, G-Stripes, Kingpins, Lemonblasts and Lesser Pastels. Whether I hit any treble co-doms, we'll have to wait and see. On the downside, I don't think I'll be seeing any caramels or Lavender Albinos this year.
The Diamonds have been very active this year and things are looking good at this stage. I've witnessed numerous locks, with both males contributing. Whether there is an end result, only time will tell.
One of my female Moluccans also looks gravid. She has adopted a very dark colouration in the last week, so again, things looks promising. I'm just going to leave her alone and see how she progresses.
The female woma is due to drop any day now, so I'm hoping for another good clutch of baby womas. One of my absolute favourites!
I'll update again in the next few weeks, as more eggs start to arrive.
