With the carpets now finished hatching for the year, I'm now into the thick of the royal season. Seven clutches made it into the cooker so far and the first two have hatched in the last few days. Firstly, a small clutch of three eggs from a pastel to g-stripe hatched, producing two 100% het g-stripes and one pastel 100% g-stripe. The second clutch was from a pastel to pastel breeding producing normals, pastels and one super pastel.
I'm now waiting on five remaining clutches which will be staggered over the next couple of months, which include:
Pastel x Pinstripe - Looking for some lemonblasts here.
Albino x 100% het albino - A couple of female albinos are on the wish list.
Kingpin x normal - Lessers, pins and maybe a kingpin...fingers crossed.
Kingpin x normal - Another kingpin is the target.
G-stripe x 100% het g-stripe - Hopefully, a couple more nice clean g-stripes.
I will be keeping a number of the offspring, but some will also be released for sale, once established and feeding. Prices will be advertised nearer the time. |
