Jaguar Carpet Python(Morelia spilota mcdowelli)

Another gorgeous looking snake, being both a pattern and colour mutation of the coastal carpet python.

Averaging around the eight feet mark as adults, coastals get larger than their jungle cousins, but can become just as trustworthy, particularly when bought as hatchlings.

I keep mine in the same conditions as my jungles and have experienced no problems with their maintenance.

I produced some stunning jaguars this year from two different females and hope to have some more in 2009.
